What is your most memorable wedding?
Hartney Whitney, Hampshire - July 1990
I had set the equipment up and put some background music on in order to tape down cables. When I looked up a few minutes later, 350 people were already dancing. This is how it went on for the next five hours, and I received a fabulous encore when the night ended.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I was the world's first disco to have a digitally controlled light show. I designed and built it myself in 1975.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Allow a much higher budget for your evening's entertainment, so that you get a good Disco or band. Over 90% of your guests will remember your party.
Fewer than 20% of your guests will remember much else about your event. Not the venue, food, dress, flowers, service, cars etc.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Find out basic information from the first point of contact, make an appointment to visit and discuss the clients needs & wants, write up the contracts, arrive on time for the event, give a great show.
What makes a romantic first dance?
Playing the bride & grooms memorable tune and getting both parents involved soon after it starts.
What is your number one floor-filler?
Having done over 5000 discos since 1971 I can honestly say that there is no such thing as a No.1 floorfiller. There are so many tunes that will fill a floor depending on the event. Sometimes, even the most unlikely tune will fill the floor.
