What a fantastic workout!

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to the band for a great night on Saturday - I think we are all just about recovered from the dancing, what a fantastic workout it was! We were let down by quite a few people not turning up on the night but that didn't stop people joining in and having a fantastic time - lots of people have contacted me since to say what a great time they had, especially wives who had never seen their husbands dance! I emailed Bob on Sunday morning as we missed him going (we were still on the dance floor doing the Macarena)! Thanks again, hope to see Oddsox somewhere again sometime ...

So many people commented about how good you were

Just wanted people to say thank you again for the music you played at our wedding on 9 April in Berkhamsted. So many people commented about how good you were and everyone enjoyed the evening. We had a perfect day. Thanks again

The band was excellent and the caller was most pat

After the 21 people left on the Sunday morning I suddenly realised how sore my feet were ... the party/American hoedown seemed to be enjoyed by all. Most people seemed to dance at some point in the evening. ...... The band was excellent and the caller was most patient with the directional dyslexic amongst us. In the interval they played all my favourite tracks by Elvis, Rod, Tom, Mick and Mr Sinatra Iwho unfortunately for one reason or another all sent their apologies!) ... The age range was between 80+(No, not me yet) to 6 weeks

Huge "THANKS" for your brilliant contribution to t

Just a note to say a huge "THANKS" for your brilliant contribution to the wedding on Saturday. It was absolutely perfectly conceived and delivered; it also set the perfect context for all that followed. The decision to take the dancing inside was a great one as it created a feeling of togetherness and stopped people dispersing to all points of the compass (I guess the weather also helped in that respect!) I must admit the idea of having a barn dance between the church service and the 'breakfast' was a novel one (not mine) and I did have some doubts. As it transpired it worked to excellent effect as it brought everyone together in another shared (participative) experience before we all sat down to eat. The success of this was entirely down to the way you managed the time and, with Bob's encouragement, we saw dancers from all sections of the guest-list - excellent! Definitely a highlight of the weekend - well done!

Fantastic Music and calling at our wedding

Thank you very much for some fantastic music and calling at our wedding. We all had a brilliant time - our guests are still talking about the dancing. One very proud cousin and his girlfriend danced every dance. I think the rest of us were pleased to have been able to dance every other one. Thank you also for the help you gave us before the day. We appreciate all of the behind the scenes work that went toward the perfect evening.

The ceilidh really made the evening a success

Just a quick note to say thank you to OddSox and Bob the caller for doing such a great job at our wedding. Everyone had a great time and the ceilidh went really well - everyone was dancing and having a lot of fun. My feet were hurting by the end, but we danced every dance! The ceilidh really made the evening a success, so thank you very much for playing for us. I think John particularly liked the slightly more random tunes you threw in - and the realisation on people’s faces when they realised they were dancing to the Match of the Day theme tune!

A huge thank you to the OddSox band

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the OddSox band for playing at our wedding reception on Saturday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh and we think you’ve got quite a few ceilidh converts who had never been to one before and really loved it. It was great to see young and old joining in. It helped make our reception a perfect evening.

I just wanted to send you a note to thank OddSox for the most fantastic ceilidh on Saturday!! It was so much fun, the music was brilliant (what seriously talented musicians!) and I think we got nearly everyone on the dance floor at some point!! All our guests were really impressed as were we. Thank you again for a wonderful night - one to remember forever.
