Apart from my own (the wife is looking over my shoulder!) my most memorable wedding was last Xmas at the Elvetham. Just such a superb bunch of guests. A mixture of all music styles including some obscure Irish Country, along with a rehearsed Father/Daughter dance that I provided and edited the music for.
Modern, smart, understanding, professional, energetic
I love the sparkly Dancefloor. The looks on people’s faces when they first enter the room is fantastic.
Don’t panic. Don’t overthink.
Fireworks that spelled out the couples names.
Email and / or a phone call.
A talk through what, where and when?
Once booked, choose a date to meet up before their big day.
Friendly informal meeting, usually at the venue.
I tend to find that seeing the couple on the day, it reassures them that, as I’m here, everything will be fine.
Any song that is personal to you both. It doesn’t have to be a slow song. I’ve seen superb first dances where the songs have been upbeat, funny and even choreographed!
It’s crowd dependant, but you can never go wrong with Mr Brightside.
The Beatles. I mean, who wouldn’t!
A mixture of Pet Shop Boys, New Order and Depeche Mode.
