Fat Cat Soul Band

Fat Cat Soul Band are a professional wedding band and function band based in Hampshire. Having played together for several years, we have honed our sound and performance over many live shows. Based in Hampshire, Fat Cat Soul Band regularly perform at weddings, parties and corporate events across the south of England, including Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey and Dorset. We think carefully about the songs we play, choosing only the best of classic soul, funk and motown as well as a wide range of modern pop performers who have their own soul or funk vibe. We’re continually updating our set list to ensure there’s a good range of songs to appeal to a wide audience. You'll hear us playing everything from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and James Brown to Beyonce, Aloe Blacc and Bruno Mars. In order to do justice to the songs that we love to play, the band consists of a full horn section as well as the usual vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keys. The allows us to recreate the sound authentically, without cheating with backing tracks. What’s most important to us is that you have fun, and enjoy your event. We work hard to ensure that you don’t need to worry about the entertainment side of things, and always make sure that we exceed expectations. We’re happy to chat through any requirements, and like to be flexible to suit your needs. We offer a tight and polished performance while injecting a huge amount of energy and fun into each show.
