Acoustic Jass Full Description
Acoustic Jass a traditional jazz band who are available to play background music to entertain your guests on arrival at your wedding or wedding reception and while the photos are being taken. The instruments are not dependent on electricity which allows Acoustic Jass to move from one place to another as the day demands. They can perform the processional music for the bride at Church, Civil or Humanist ceremonies, can play music during the signing of the register and for the happy couple leaving the ceremony, and can lead the wedding party from the ceremony to the wedding reception venue. These are just a few of the things they've been asked to do in the past and are available to do in the future. They've played for groups of 20 to 200 people

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

We've played for over three hundred weddings, from village halls, woodland glades to stately homes it is unfair to single one out as they are all different.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

happy, inclusive, friendly, smart

What about your business are you most proud of?

professionalism and attention to detail.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

The type of music at your wedding is probably the first question that should be considered because there are often a wide selection of guests of varying ages, so something that does not alienate one section of guests is advisable. If its a drinks reception for people to mingle and talk then a heavy rock band may not be appropriate whereas a string quartet may not be the best for after dinner when people want to get up and dance. Traditional Jazz bands go down well with all ages.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After the initial contact we establish the times we are required to be in attendance and to play then we give an all inclusive quote. To secure the booking we ask for a deposit with the balance of the fee payable cash on the day or before if cheque or electronic transfer. We are happy to discuss any special requirements at any time and we contact the couple during the week before to check that all the arrangements are still valid. we arrive and get set up in plenty of time.
