FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Georgia’s wedding in Embourough where I had to scale scaffolding to create a beautiful floral installation in their private family church.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Wild and wonderful Rustic yet elegant Inspired by nature Tailored to you

What about your business are you most proud of?

Becoming one of the most popular wedding florists in Somerset within five years … provinding beautiful flowers (especially when grown by us) to lots of happy couples

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Visit your venue as much as possible and think about where you want your photos and how your flowers can enhance them. Stretch your budget by thinking of ways to reuse your arrangements and ask us how this can be done for you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love it when brides ask to include flowers to their bouquet to remind them of people who are no longer with them. I think it’s a beautiful way of honouring a loved one as the bouquet is carried with you and close to your heart.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After contact we have an initial consultation where we find out everything about your wedding. You will then receive a full quote, detailed proposal, mood board and link to your own Pinterest board. We can then tweak the proposal until it’s perfect for you. If you would like to book us we ask for a 30 % deposit. A final consultation is held about six weeks before the big day but we are on hand at any time during the lead up to the day.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I loved using pheasant feathers in one of our brides bouquet.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Rosemary is a lovely fragrant foliage that symbolises loving memory.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Either large floaty garden Roses or Peonies with a sweet, subtle scent.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Dry them or press them … they will be with you forever
