TDR-Bridal Birmingham

TDR were recommended to me by quite a lot of people and I can see why. They are more than just a bridal shop, they are with you for the whole journey. Every member of staff have been wonderful from start to finish. I knew what dress I wanted before I came to the shop but I was convinced to try on other similar ones so I could have the full experience of trying on different types of dresses, each dress she chose for me to try on was beautiful and as a plus sized bride it wonderful to feel like a princess without the worry of being self conscious or not being able to fit in the dress. The words plus sized or larger bride were never used, all of the staff complimented me and were cheering me on, it was a wonderful experience. My mom and I came to one of the Wednesday evening events and it was lovely to talk to all the stylists and other brides about their weddings, I would recommend brides go to these Wednesday events. I just want to shout out to my seamstress Sati who did an amazing job altering my dress to fit me like a glove. I felt like a princess. Thank you to the whole TDR team for making buying my wedding dress an absolute dream.

I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a special experience, only if you are struggling to find a dress and are happy with feeling like you’re on a production line. Bombarded with several emails, texts and voicemails leading up to the appointment confirming that I was definitely coming, despite already confirming multiple times. Didn’t expect that 5 other brides would also have the same appointment time as me. I think this is greediness from the owners and ruins a special experience. Many other stores offer an exclusive appointment or are very subtle about another bride trying on as well. There were 20 of us in the waiting room, and I was finally seen to 30 minutes past my appointment time and told that my appointment would be in the foyer and that the glass was tinted which it wasn’t. The foyer should not be used as a 7th fitting room. I had stylists and other brides moving my dresses that we had picked out and hung up. One stylist took one of my dresses for another client even though we were just about to try it on. Felt time pressured and rushed to leave as my dressing room/foyer was now being used as a photoshoot area for other brides. Large selection of dresses, but don’t go for your first special experience.

Start to finish, the whole experience is fabulous - TDR have thought about every little detail and make you feel special the moment you step through the door. I have been there as a bride and also as part of a bridal party and both times have been fantastic! Would recommend to come here for THE dress to any brides out there!

I went to TDR back in November and it was the loveliest experience ever. The lady that helped me find my dress was so so lovely during my appointment! She put me at ease right away and it was like having another friend at my appointment and because of this I found my perfect dress. The shop is beautiful inside and you are so welcomed as soon as you get there. The whole appointment was so lovely I just wanted to do it all over again!

This was my second time shopping for a dress, first time was back in 2019 ready for my 2020 wedding (thanks covid 🙄) and I bought my first dress at a different bridal shop in Shoprshire. It was awful, I won't go into the details, but I bought a dress at that appointment and ended up altering it beyond recognition because I was so uncomfortable in it. Luckily (I suppose...) as we cancelled, I got a second shot at finding my dream dress and booked an appointment with TDR. The morning of my appointment, I just couldn't get excited. I had an anxious ball in my stomach assuming that once again I'd walk out with the wrong dress. How wrong could I be?!?! The incredible Flayme made me feel welcome, and calm from the moment we met. She explicitly explained that she wouldn't allow me to settle for anything other than perfect. She was patient and understanding, and even when I was trying to be polite about dresses I wasn't keen on, she saw right through it and was like 'get that dress off!' 😂 I walked away with my DREAM dress. If you are thinking about booking an appointment, just do it. You won't regret it. Note: My wedding date is 18/02/25, but the form will only allow me to select a date in the past.

I was so worried and anxious before the wedding….with how I was going to look from dress to hair to makeup ! Maya helped me find my dream dress and Kelly made it fit perfectly and gave me so much reassurance! Thank you so much to you both 🥰 Don’t know why i worried so much ! It was the best day of my life and I wish I could do it all over again 😃 best best best day ever ❤️xxxx

I cannot recommend enough 'The Dressing Room', from the initial call to arrange my appointment to collecting my dress after it had been dry cleaned after our wedding customer service was fantastic. When I chose my dress staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The seamstress who made alterations to my dress was amazing and a perfectionist ensuring my dress fit perfectly on the day. I would love to go through the experience again! We also used the menswear department. That too was wonderful. Staff were very helpful and friendly and made the whole experience stress free!

I took my mom to TDR to have a look at silhouettes and determine what would suit me etc! Little did I know that I would walk out having found THE ONE! Maya greeted us with refreshments, and allowed us to look around to our heart’s content, picking out some of the most beautiful dresses I think I have ever seen! I tried on four dresses in total, and when we found the one, we all took a moment to take it in! Maya made me feel beautiful, and could not compliment me enough! I left the shop not only knowing what my wedding dress will be, but feeling beautiful and confident! Highly recommend to anyone looking for their dream dress!

They go absolutely above and beyond in this wedding dress shop. They know that its a special experience and want to make it amazing. They dont up sell or pressure you to buy. You get offered some lovely drinks. And the shop itswlf is stunning. Highly recommended!

The girls were all amazing but a special shout-out to Paige who dealt with all of my appointments, they were accommodating, made it fun, answered any questions I had. The whole process from start to finish was great, I couldn’t suggest any improvements. Amazing store with a huge selections of dresses for every budget.
