I am Laura Rankin the face behind Creatures of Habit Cakery. I am a Wedding and Celebration cake maker based on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. All cakes are handcrafted with love by me at my home, on the beautiful Isle of Skye. I cover not only Skye but the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and as far as you would love to enjoy my cake. I love nothing more than listening to your ideas, sketching them onto paper and creating your dream cake for your special day.

Not only was the cake amazing, Laura was a fantastic supplier - responsive, creative and definitely helped us bring our dream cake to life! Every layer was perfect, and she even made a layer gluten free for us which was so lovely (and did not take away from the flavour at all). Safe to say I’m very glad we’ve got a few pieces left in the freezer to cheer us up through the winter months ♥️

Laura made our wedding cake and it was flawless! From booking to delivery working with her was so easy and really fun. She helped us bounce around ideas. The final cake was perfect, absolutely perfect! Not only was it stunning, but it was also delicious. Laura is the cake maker of dreams!
