A wedding I did in Cambridge, the bride was so lovely, but she’d had a run in with an over zealous beauty therapist who’d waxed her upper lip and left a burn mark! I put her mind at rest immediately, confirmed that makeup can work miracles, and we covered it successfully. She told me afterwards that it made her feel so much more confident and she’d hadn’t given it a second thought for the rest of the day :)
Relaxed, cool, natural, pretty, flawless
My kit, I love all the products I use and I know them well enough now to get the best out of them!
Be true to yourselves and don’t feel pressure from those around you!
I love the bridesmaids gifts that brides give now, I love watching them open them, the thought and personalisation that goes into them is always a tear jerker!
Well I tend to only deal with the bride, given what I do! We usually start with a phone call or an email exchange, I ask a few details about the wedding and the look that the bride is going for. Then I ask whether there are any pictures that they would like to send me for inspiration. I would always recommend a bride has a trial, so that would be the next step. Then provided the bride is happy with the look created at the trial, I see them at the wedding! Answering any questions in between of course :)
Making brides feel the absolute best version of themselves on their wedding day.
Look after your skin as best you can in the lead up to your wedding day. We can discuss this at the trial on how to get the best results. Your skin is your canvas, your makeup will only look as good as the skin it’s applied to.
I’m a very calm person myself and have always worked well under pressure. It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers!
There are certain steps in your makeup application which will ensure that your makeup lasts all day. This is usually the difference between having a pro and doing the makeup yourself.
