Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Friendly, bubbly, down to earth, creative and of course, professional!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Never try to do everything yourself on the day, your bridal party is there to help you!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Firstly, we'll discuss the details on your big day. From the date, location, time you need to be ready as well as how many are requiring makeup to provide you with a quote. From there, we can arrange the all-important trial to create a look you'll love. After you have secured your wedding date, I can create a schedule of how the morning will look so that we're both on the same page - this also helps the hair stylist.
What do you love most about your job?
I love all-things makeup and all-things weddings, being able to combine the two as a job is a dream! Experiencing that 'feel good' moment with you when you look in the mirror for the first time is such a precious moment.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
I have lots which you will discover if you have your trial with me...
But if you want to try new skincare/makeup products before your wedding - try them at least 3 months before your wedding so your skin can get used to them and avoid any breakouts!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Encourage them to have fun and have a giggle. The most important part to remember is that you're marrying someone you want to be with for the rest of your life and your wedding day is a day to celebrate just that. So as long as your fiancé turns up at the alter and the registrars are there to declare your marriage then everything else is a bonus!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
The makeup I use is of high quality, designed and applied to last all day. However, touch ups of powder to reduce shine and lipstick are essential to keep it looking fresh. Scratching or rubbing your face will disturb it so if you feel you need to, grab your powder puff to do so and only tap the skin.
