What about your business are you most proud of?
The feedback I get from my customers.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Excel is your best friend. Figure out your budget as your very first step, breaking down how much you want to allocate to each aspect of your wedding. This will stop any money-related stress down the road.
What do you love most about your job?
The part I love the most about my job is a particular moment when my client, who may suffer from a low self-esteem or low self-confidence, sees herself for the first time. The moment when she sees herself, through the eyes of her loved ones - as a beautiful, strong, independent woman! When I see her stand taller and Smile wider! That is THE moment I love with all my clients!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Hydrate! Make sure you drink lots of water and keep your face hydrated with a good skin care routine, especially in the lead up to your wedding! This is will provide me with the best canvas to work on! Also, try to resist trying new products or treatments close to the day of your wedding that you may not have tried before as they may cause a reaction or a breakout.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I stay calm and professional throughout my time with the bride, making sure that in the lead up to the wedding, all her questions are answered so she doesn't go into the day with any uncertainties. On the day, I arrive on time and keep to schedule which helps to put the bride at ease knowing everything is going as planned.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Keep a tissue in your bra to catch the tears before they fall down your face during the ceremony.
Try to resist touching your face during the day to avoid wearing off the makeup (fact: we touch our faces 2000-3000 times p/day!)
Smile!! Makeup is never complete without a smile! (so cheesy but true!)
