Amanda Roberts - Hair & Makeup

I cannot rate Amanda highly enough! She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup - it lasted all day, even with some energetic dancing! I received so many compliments about it too. On top of that, Amanda is such a nice person to deal with and helped create some calm in a busy wedding morning.

Amanda did my wedding hair and makeup in Nov 2024 and I would highly recommend her. I didn't want heavy makeup and she did a great job at making it look natural whilst also successfully covering up a bad scar I had on my forehead from a recent injury. She is reliable and a safe pair of hands, and she was so lovely to have around on the morning of the wedding too! Both my hair and makeup looked great and stayed put all through the day and evening.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Amanda ahead of my wedding. She listened to by ideas and made her own suggestions where appropriate, was punctual and professional, and produced a stunning result that held up all day and all night. I couldn't be happier with her services

Booking Amanda for my wedding was such a great decision. We had an in-depth consultation 3 months before the day to discuss and try out hair and make-up looks. Once sorted, she made notes and took photos for reference on the big day. My flattering make-up and up-do lasted throughout the day without any need for a touch up, except extra lipstick prior for photos. It meant I could completely enjoy the day without fear of developing panda eyes, or hair falling down. She is a true professional.

Amanda did the hair and makeup for my wedding in October. I just found her doing a search online. It was great to have done a pre-trial as I had no idea what I wanted, so a bit of a play around with hairstyles ended up to be the perfect style that I felt myself in as well as the makeup. It all came together beautifully on the day. I didn't need to top up any makeup for the whole day and the hair stayed together the whole day too. Amanda was very professional and easy to work with. I had no idea where to start with hair and make up, but was so glad I found Amanda. She was great at interpreting my very vague direction, and really nailed the look. As someone who doesn't usually wear much makeup I was very worried about looking overly made up, but Amanda managed to get just the right balance. She was a really calming presence on the morning, and even stepped in to drive my parents' bag to the chapel when they realised they'd left it in the house!

Amanda Roberts did my hair and makeup for my wedding at the Gore Hotel in London on 25 November 2018. My hair and makeup was absolutely perfect and lasted the whole day and evening. Amanda is so talented. She really got my style and I felt like a more polished version of myself. She is so friendly and made me feel really relaxed on the day.
