Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. Specially our personal butler Nishshanka he was great, and always happy to help beyond our expectations. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate honeymoon or wedding anniversary. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or nature lovers. From the moment we arrived, getting the freshest welcome drinks and resting in the open air 'library' over the water, to the villa, to the staff and amenities, to the location... not enough superlatives to do Vil Uyana justice. Our villa was luxurious, with a private plunge pool overlooking the converted fields, such a serene setting. The restaurant and meals were phenomenal, truly decadent. The staff went above and beyond...Wow! Staying here was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, getting the freshest welcome drinks and resting in the open air 'library' over the water, to the villa, to the staff and amenities, to the location... not enough superlatives to do Vil Uyana justice. The wildlife within the hotel grounds is incredible to sit relax watch the birds, bats, the crocks, monkeys, hear the frogs, go grey slender Loris spotting in the evening. Even saw a rare snake on our evening on the hotel tour. How the hotel has incorporated the wildlife is a perfect harmony and beautiful to see, everyone has so much knowledge about the surroundings area.
