Dickwella Resort and Spa

We only came to stay today. But I'm already writing this as it's been exceptional!! We are here with our wheelchair bound mother. Just like in many places they are not fully equipped to support chair bound people( restaurant in second floor without a lift). However they have been excellent in helping us. They set us a table downstairs and assigned a person to look after us. One of the managers (Tharanga I think) was one of the most friendliest/ helpful people I've met in hospitality...

This was the perfect place for a family trip! We were welcomed by Mr.Rohan Gamage and his helpful staff who made our experience a very special one. Mr.Tharanga was an absolute joy to be around, he was very helpful and friendly which made our stay a memorable one. There was not a single bad experience as the staff attended to our needs carefully, making the customer service spotless. In terms of food, it was amazing, specially the breakfast. Staff was very kind and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and happy The view of the beach was beautifull and is seen from every side of the hotel. The diving instructor is very friendly and experienced, he gave us a nice tour of the ocean. We spent 6 days in this hotel and it felt like home and it was heartbreaking to leave. You can enjoy the beach with turtles and vibrant arrays of fish too.

Went there for a wedding. The place was clean and beautiful. Situated on a piece of land jutting out of the coastline. The wedding hall was on the very tip of the property and had beautiful views of the ocean. Never got to see the rooms, but learned that they were priced reasonably.
