Outdoor options include Kynoch’s Garden, a private sister property with panoramic coastal views, and the festoon-lit Bay Garden, overlooking the hotel’s duck pond and nature reserve. For indoor ceremonies, the recently refurbished Asgard Suite can accommodate up to 250 guests and provides an elegant, weather-proof alternative.
The hotel offers two main banqueting suites: the Bay Suite Ballroom for larger celebrations and the Asgard Suite for more intimate receptions. With 91 bedrooms on site and a policy of hosting just one wedding per day, couples are assured a personalised and relaxed experience.

Can you advise a timeline for the day that I can plan to?
We recommend ceremonies on site for 2pm all year round. This will ensure enough time for photos in good light after the ceremony and also allow you time to be part of your drinks reception. The dinner bell is usually at 5pm with the meal service commencing at approx. 6pm. After the meal, dancing starts at approx. 9.30pm (this can be affected by the length of time it takes for a band to set up). DJs after the band start around midnight. Bar services ceases at 1.30am.
Does The Arklow Bay provide centrepieces?
As part of your package, we will provide candelabra and fresh seasonal flowers in small low-level vases. We tend to keep the florals green and white unless you request otherwise.
Can I get ready at the hotel on the day of my wedding?
If you would like to get ready in the Lloyd Suite you can choose to stay there the night before, at a standard double room rate. This will ensure you can get ready in the room from as early as you like.
Is there a complimentary menu tasting and who can attend?
All of our wedding packages include a complimentary Food & Wine Tasting Evening for the wedding couple, which will take place at least 2 months before your wedding date.
