The Manor of Hermos
This 16th century Manor House was built by Robert de Thumery in 1535 and completed in 1550 (under Henry II) by Claude de Lorraine I Duke of Guise. This residence nestled in the middle of a 12 hectare park, served as a hunting lodge for Henry IV. In 1679, the chapel of St Peter and St Paul was built upstairs. In 1893, the Windsors made Hermos their family estate.
From the steps of the Manor you can admire the view of the esplanade and the secure body of water below. In this green setting filled with serenity, you can enjoy the calm of Normandy and the great outdoors! Whether adults or children, this place is a perfect place to relax for a weekend (or more!) with family or friends.
The Manoir d'Hermos has 5 guest rooms with private bathrooms.
