Blanchelande Abbey is an exceptional historical site dating back to the 12th century, enhanced by architectural additions from the 17th and 18th centuries. Classified as a Historical Monument, it offers a unique setting, steeped in history and character.
For your event, you enter a completely enclosed and totally private estate, guaranteeing privacy and exclusivity throughout your celebration.
Opposite the abbot's residence lies a 1.8-hectare pond, a true natural mirror of the estate. It is here, in front of the residence and facing the sunset over the water, that your cocktail reception will take place. Outdoor furniture can be set up to create an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, perfectly integrated into the landscape.
Nestled slightly uphill in the park, the orangery is the perfect setting for your dinner. It offers an unobstructed view of the pond, the abbot's residence, and the entrance to the estate.
It has 250 m² of floor space, complemented by a 60 m² annex, making a total of 310 m², allowing it to accommodate up to 180 guests.
Included are:
The estate has 10 newly renovated rooms in the former stables:
In addition, there is the Moulin des Mariés, an old mill located slightly further back, which can accommodate 2 to 4 people in an intimate and charming setting.
A dedicated children's room is also available if you wish to accommodate younger guests. The presence of the pond naturally requires special attention, but we work with several trusted babysitters to ensure everyone's peace of mind.
The old stables and their covered porch provide an ideal alternative in case of rain or can host a welcome dinner on Friday evening.
