Description

On the outskirts of the small picturesque village of Castéra-Lectourois, less than 10 min. from Lectoure, the Gîte du Hiron offers privileged accommodation for your vacation rental or your stay in the Gers. Solo, as a couple or with friends, you will discover a cottage of charm and character in a beautiful 17th century residence, with a backdrop of a wooded park and the Gers countryside, particularly splendid at sunset. Throughout the seasons, the spectacle of the latter, from the terraces or the windows of the gîte, is particularly pleasant and soothing. The estate is accessed via a long driveway, leading between 2 centuries-old dovecotes to a large stone house which houses the gîte, its rooms and its common areas. Completely renovated in 2017 with the aim of creating a characterful gîte, the building uses noble and ancestral materials, to which the owner of the premises has added a subtle modern and colorful touch. The stone renderings are made with traditional lime, and there are many cut stones in the architecture of the house itself: large fireplaces, large interior arches, doors, etc. A large private car park is provided for parking your car, and allows water and electricity to be connected to motorhomes and electric cars. Hello, On this domain 3 proposals are possible: 1- a cottage with an incredible quality of life! To share moments of conviviality with several people 2- A completely crazy reception room, which adapts to any type of wedding! 3- And why not a combination of the two? For our part, choice 3 was beyond our expectations! We were able to celebrate our wedding with all the support of Jacques the owner! Who does everything to make the moment (or the stay) even more magical. Without forgetting the catering part which was more than wonderful! Without forgetting the DJ who followed us until the end. Superb domain

A very beautiful place as beautiful inside as outside. The venue was perfect for our wedding and all our guests were charmed by it, whether it was the reception room with its marquee or the very practical gite. It was in an idyllic setting that we were able to celebrate our wedding this Saturday July 8, 2023. The Hiron estate is surrounded by fields of sunflowers. We rented the lodge and the room. Each room in the cottage is equipped with a bathroom with toilet. A large dining room and a perfectly functional equipped kitchen are present. We are happy to have been able to celebrate our wedding in this magnificent estate.

Excellent stay at Domaine du Hiron! The host is very friendly, available and accommodating. The place is perfect, absolutely calm and pleasant. The cottage is very well equipped and the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are spacious and very comfortable! In short, we recommend this gîte!

This place is simply exceptional. Each room has its own identity and is well decorated. The materials are of high quality and cleanliness is essential despite the immense volumes.
