Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

The most beautiful wedding celebrated at Domaine de Lériet perfectly exemplified the rustic and elegant spirit we strive to convey. That day, 70 guests were immersed in a poetic atmosphere, where white dominated the decor, bringing a touch of purity and refinement to each space.

The secular ceremony took place in our Japanese garden, a haven of serenity enhanced for the occasion by delicate floral and textile arrangements in shades of white. Amidst this soothing setting, punctuated by stones, sculpted plants, and a natural water feature, the bride and groom exchanged their vows in a gentle and contemplative atmosphere. The murmur of the water, mingled with the rustling of the bamboo, created an atmosphere almost suspended in time.

The reception, still in the Japanese garden, prolonged this enchanting interlude. The guests, gathered around the pond, shared a convivial moment while enjoying the relaxing beauty of the setting. The natural setting, combined with delicate decor, echoed the rustic theme with a real touch of elegance.

The evening continued in the bamboo grove, where an external caterer had set up magnificent buffets. A live band provided the entertainment, playing folk tunes and lively rhythms. String lights suspended from the bamboo groves illuminated the outdoor tables, giving the dinner a magical atmosphere.

The next day, brunch was held in our reception room, decorated for the occasion in a cozy and chic style. The relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to connect, laugh, and prolong the magic of the weekend.

This wedding remains etched in our memories as an exceptional moment, where the harmony between nature, simplicity, and emotion gave birth to a celebration as elegant as it was deeply human.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

My number one piece of advice when you begin planning your wedding is to come and visit the venue in person as soon as possible. Nothing can replace the experience of imagining each space: imagine your ceremony in the Japanese garden, visualize your reception around the pond, and experience the ambiance of the reception hall. This visit will not only allow you to grasp the full potential of the Domaine de Lériet, but also to fully understand the venue, ask questions directly, and refine your wishes based on the options available.

Taking the time to explore the estate will help you design a wedding that reflects your personality and make the most confident choices for each step of your day. I will be delighted to welcome you, discuss your expectations, and guide you through this essential first step of your beautiful adventure.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

As the owner of Domaine de Lériet, I've had the chance to attend many weddings, each with its own unique characteristics. One of the personal touches that stood out the most was undoubtedly the wedding couple's installation of an instant camera, a selfie stick.

They chose to place this booth near the Château de Lériet, whose ruins offer an authentic and romantic setting. For one evening, this spot became a veritable gathering point where guests and the bride and groom gathered to capture spontaneous and joyful memories. Everyone could leave with a souvenir photo, instantly developed, reinforcing the conviviality and festive atmosphere of the wedding.

This arrangement created a fun and intergenerational experience while showcasing the estate's heritage. Seeing the guests having fun in front of the château, laughing together, and immortalizing these moments throughout the night made the celebration particularly lively and welcoming. For me, this kind of initiative perfectly illustrates what I love about Domaine de Lériet: allowing each couple to make the spaces their own, to bring their own creativity, and to make their wedding truly unique and memorable.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

As the owner of Domaine de Lériet, my style can be defined by five adjectives that reflect the spirit with which I welcome and support each couple:

Warm: I place great importance on hospitality, conviviality, and closeness with the bride and groom and their guests.

Authentic: I like to showcase the history, natural spaces, and heritage of the estate, while remaining true to my personality and beliefs.

Attentive: I take the time to discuss and understand the desires and needs of each couple, to offer personalized and sincere support.

Creative: I encourage originality, new ideas, and personal touches that make each event unique.

Respectful: I strive to preserve the estate's natural and heritage setting, encourage sharing while respecting everyone, and promote ethical values during each celebration.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Without a doubt, the Japanese garden at Domaine de Lériet stands out as the perfect photo spot for your wedding. This peaceful and refined setting offers a unique natural setting: a subtle harmony between majestic bamboo, sculpted vegetation, stones, and, above all, a natural water feature that adds a poetic dimension to each shot.

The estate is also full of magnificent bamboo tunnels, veritable plant passages where light delicately filters through the foliage. This particularly soft light creates a magical atmosphere and enhances every moment captured: whether for portraits of the bride and groom, captured moments, or group photos, these tunnels offer an extraordinary setting and ideal light quality for unforgettable shots.

This enchanting setting is perfect for romantic, intimate, or group photos, where the light and the reflections of the water enhance the shared moments. Whether you're immortalizing the exchange of glances during a secular ceremony, capturing the spontaneity of a kiss by the pond, or orchestrating a group photo in an elegant and exotic setting, the Japanese garden and bamboo tunnels are true treasure troves of memories.

Through the seasons, the magic of the estate is expressed: the intense green of the bamboo, the softness of the pond, the filtered light of the tunnels... all these elements provide an ideal backdrop for authentic and natural photos.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

What truly sets Domaine de Lériet apart is the rare combination of unspoiled nature and a variety of atmospheres, embodied by the presence of majestic bamboo tunnels and a Japanese garden with a natural water feature.

At the heart of these hectares of greenery, the bamboo tunnels create enveloping paths, bathing each moment in a soft, magical light, ideal for a wedding. The Japanese garden offers a serene space adorned with stone, sculpted plants, and a pond, perfect for ceremonies or poetic photos.

This unique environment provides:

An exceptional and modular plant setting, inviting personalization, whatever the style of celebration.

The opportunity to experience different atmospheres throughout the day: from a secular ceremony under the bamboo trees to a festive evening under the stars.

A rare feeling of escape, like a true journey, without leaving the region.

More than just a place, the Domaine de Lériet allows you to create immersive and luminous memories, in a natural setting that is vibrant, serene, and decidedly out of the ordinary. It is this ability to unite the authenticity of the plant life, the harmony of the spaces, and the magic of the light that gives the estate its soul and identity.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

What I am most proud of, as owner of Domaine de Lériet, is having managed to preserve and enhance the exceptional natural setting of the bamboo grove and its multiple atmospheres, while creating a place that is welcoming, flexible and deeply human. Offering couples and their loved ones the opportunity to celebrate the important moments of their lives in an 8-hectare park, rich in more than 80 species of bamboo, shaded paths, natural tunnels bathed in soft light, but also a superb Japanese garden with a pond, represents a real source of pride for me!
