Built in 1782, Chateau de Clotte embodies the architectural splendour of the Louis XV era. Legend has it that beneath these lands, countless underground springs have been flowing and converging for centuries. These sources, known as “Clòta” in Gascon, give the chateau its name. On your big day, start your morning with a glass of bubbly alongside your bridesmaids or groomsmen on the sun-drenched terrace, setting the perfect tone for the wedding day ahead. Hold your blessing in the courtyard shaded by trees, followed by refreshing drinks and delicious nibbles in the garden by the pool. Dinner can be held outdoors or in the beautiful reception hall featuring oak beams and abundant natural light. This space also offers reversible heating and air conditioning. At this chateau you will be able to party late into the night. The day after, gather again for a pool party and a relaxing brunch, with local produces and wines of the property. The domaine sleeps up to 34 people on-site in beautifully renovated bedrooms that offer breathtaking views of the vineyard. Things to do in/near Chateau de Clotte: On-site, enjoy the spa area, equipped with a hammam, sauna, and Nordic bath. You’ll also be ideally located for a wine tasting at the property. Notably, Château de Clotte is one of the few on the right bank with a large proportion of Cabernets, making it unique.
