Owned by the same family for 28 generations, it has preserved its many treasures and promises you an unforgettable stay.
The Jean de Caissac Room, a historic space fully renovated in 2013, has been transformed into a 180m² reception hall that can seat up to 160 guests. It meets modern safety standards, is accessible to people with disabilities, and offers stunning views of the castle. On the lower level, a 100m² area is fully equipped to allow caterers to work in ideal conditions.
The entire castle will be exclusively yours! You and your loved ones can make this remarkable place your own for several days, enjoying its elegant succession of reception rooms and eight beautifully decorated bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 15 guests. What a delight to gather again on-site the day after the celebration!
The six-hectare park, beautifully landscaped with trees, flowers, and ponds, and featuring a swimming pool, provides a perfect backdrop for your cocktail reception and wedding photographs. Tents can be set up according to your wishes. A secure, well-lit parking area and a ramp for disabled access complete the facilities.

The lord of the castle was more than kind to us, communicating regularly about the organization, letting us set up the reception room the day before our reservation. We used all the rooms in the castle and our guests were delighted! The castle grounds also pleased all our guests! We are very happy with our wedding and this place played a big part in it!We privatized the Château de Sedaiges from Friday 20 to Monday 23 August 2021 and it was perfect! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding at Château de Sédaiges is unique, but one of the most memorable was an intimate celebration for 120 guests where the couple held a secular ceremony in the grounds at sunset, followed by a refined dinner in our reception room decorated with candles and wildflowers. The evening continued under an illuminated tent with a live band, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A couple recreated the story of their meeting through a series of tableaux vivants arranged throughout the park, guiding guests from one photo opportunity to the next. Each space told a chapter of their story with personal items and quotes. It was a moving and creative way to share their love journey with their loved ones.

The neo-Gothic façade of the castle at sunset offers an exceptional golden light. The grand salon with its period tapestries and monumental staircase is also very popular. In the park, the ponds surrounded by greenery and the main path lined with century-old trees create natural backdrops perfect for romantic and timeless photos.

We protect the privacy of all our guests, but we have had the pleasure of welcoming several prominent figures from the French artistic and political worlds who were captivated by the intimacy and exclusivity of our estate. What’s your favourite canapé?
Our region's Cantal AOP mini tartlets, served with fig jam, are always a hit! They perfectly combine Auvergne tradition with refinement. We also love the homemade foie gras verrines on a bed of Sauternes jelly, a classic that's always a favorite, combining elegance and exceptional flavors.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
The traditional wedding cake remains a staple of French weddings, but we have a soft spot for the creations of local pastry chefs who create magnificent personalized wedding cakes. French macarons, presented in pyramids, also always make a splash, both for their visual appeal and their varied flavors.

Our château is distinguished by its intact historical authenticity—it has been passed down in the same family for 28 generations.
