Get married in a place steeped in history and sleep in the very room where Joan of Arc stayed in March 1430 during her travels in Berry. The Château de Bouesse, built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 15th, is a magnificent venue thanks to its exquisite decorations and surrounding grounds. It will transport you to a peaceful and romantic world. Completely renovated, this remarkable site has undergone extensive work by its new owners. Passionate about art and history, they have preserved the authentic charm of this château, gifted by Louis XI to the Gaucourt family, by furnishing and redecorating it lavishly. The grounds are equally impressive, with a 7-hectare park boasting magnificent trees and buildings that can accommodate weddings and receptions for up to 250 guests. With sleeping accommodations for approximately 32 people spread across the castle, the 13th-century tower, and the hunting lodge, the very spacious bedrooms offer guests a most welcoming space to stay on-site. Evening lighting allows guests to enjoy the gardens well into the night for cocktails and aperitifs, before gathering in a 320 m² marquee that can accommodate over 250 people for dinner. Sunday brunch can be enjoyed in the outbuildings, which comprise two rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people. The entire site can be privatized for all your events from Friday to Sunday evening, or from Saturday noon to Sunday 6:00 pm. Private parking is available for overnight guests. We can also arrange for catering, entertainment, room decoration, cold storage, site lighting, linens, and toiletries, etc.
