Château de Bazoches

A beautiful residence, a beautiful monument, very well maintained by the descendants. A very interesting visit, an educational route, full of perfectly presented treasures, even if away from the main roads. The visit is definitely worth the detour.

Bazoches Castle is a very beautiful castle offering a magnificent view of Vezelay in particular. The most appreciable element of this castle is that Vauban's apartments have been maintained as they were originally and the tour allows us to visit them. The people present answered our questions and were very friendly and accessible. I recommend this visit!

Very pretty castle which is still owned by descendants of Vauban. Most of the furniture is also original. Magnificent view of the valley and Vézelay

Very beautiful castle and the people who welcome us are very friendly, Vauban could not have lived in our time. I recommend it to parents with teenagers for the history and above all go visit the church in the village where Vauban rests

Visit to the castle during a wedding, splendid setting, steeped in history. (I recommend taking the children's guide so you can have fun finding clues in each room of the castle visit ehe) There is even a wax statue of Louis XIV in one of the rooms. Very successful !
