All the rooms in the castle are at your disposal and can be arranged according to your wishes and needs. From the reception hall, you have easy access to various additional spaces: two rooms dedicated to children, a large cloakroom, a photo booth area… all designed to offer comfort and a welcoming atmosphere to all your guests.
In case of inclement weather, everything can be held inside the castle, including the cocktail reception initially planned for the south terrace. This avoids the often expensive, unattractive, and uncomfortable rental of a marquee. One less thing to worry about!
The rental also includes setup, round and rectangular tables proportional to the number of guests, and complete cleaning of the venue.
During the low and mid seasons, rentals run from Friday morning at 9:00 AM to Sunday at 5:00 PM. During peak season, exclusive use of the castle begins on Friday at 7:00 PM and ends on Sunday at 5:00 AM.

Château de Chalabre was the only venue we visited during our search. It met all our criteria: a superb hall that didn't need much decoration, a lovely spot for the cocktail reception with a stunning view, but also a nice backup room in case of rain, a dance hall separate from the dining room, and a room for the children. We were captivated during the visit with Gilles, who took the time to show us around, sharing his fascinating explanations about the château's history. We immediately appreciated his generosity, his advice, his attentiveness, and his honesty. His values and qualities gave us confidence in him and allowed us to prepare our wedding in the best possible conditions. We naturally chose Yodeline Catering, who regularly works with Gilles, and we wanted a caterer who uses local products, which is exactly what they did. Gilles, Adeline, and Yoan were incredibly attentive to our (many) requests and what was most important to us: we thank them for that. We were able to offer our guests a meal that reflected our personalities: lovers of quality ingredients, good food (and good wine!). The meal was delicious from cocktail hour to dessert; everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The cocktail hour was generous and beautifully presented with interactive stations, the main course was excellent with tender meat, and the dessert buffet, which was very much in our hearts, was varied and delicious. The bar area with a bartender was a real bonus, quite unusual, and it delighted our guests. We particularly appreciated the pre-dinner moment organized by Gilles and the caterer, a chance for just the two of us to enjoy a glass of champagne and sample the appetizers from the cocktail hour. They are very professional, attentive, and patient. The setting is simply magnificent, with its grand staircase in the hall, the former stables for the secular ceremony, the various rooms accessible to guests, the bridal suite for the newlyweds, and the terrace with its view of the Pyrenees (we had perfect weather!). All our guests and we ourselves were captivated. The day before our wedding, we were able to decorate the château and the different rooms exactly as we wished, again with the support of Marie and Victoria and the château staff. We also wanted to offer an early afternoon snack (a German tradition). Marie and Adeline went above and beyond to help us organize it (savory snacks, refreshments, refrigerated storage, dishes, service, etc.) and even provided us with brand-new parasols for the terrace. Quelles sont les formules boissons ?
We can include some or all of the drinks for your wedding. The goal of this bespoke service is to allow you to tailor it to your needs, desires, and budget. We can therefore provide refreshments during the group photo session (soft drinks), cocktails (one type of cocktail, one type of sparkling wine, beer, Kir, soft drinks, etc.), wines during the meal, Champagne or Blanquette de Limoux with dessert, as well as all the drinks from the open bar during the dance party.
Puis-je apporter mon gâteau de mariage ? Facturez-vous une majoration ?
You can absolutely use an external pastry chef while still using the caterer we recommend, without any additional charges.
Est-il possible de se garer en grand nombre ?
Absolutely! We have three car parks and can accommodate over 400 people during our public opening hours. We also have a bus car park if you're planning shuttles to your accommodation.

A deposit will be required upon booking, a second part 1 month before the wedding and the total balance after the wedding.

It's possible to accommodate all your guests in the village itself. Between the castle, the village's Hôtel de France, the various guesthouses, Airbnbs, etc., all the guests are usually accommodated in Chalabre. There's also the option of accommodating all the guests at an estate 10 minutes from the castle and providing a shuttle service.

Three price categories are offered to suit your expectations and budget. From a more traditional menu to a more gourmet experience, find your perfect meal in 3, 4, or 5 courses.
