Where to start...?
We spent a wonderful day there for a wedding in July (we were guests), the waiters are available and smiling! And the refined cuisine: we started with a succulent wine of honor with small appetizers and plancha prawns then we went to the table ... Noix de Saint Jacques, Tournedos Rossini, assortment of cheeses ... and to finish a delicious strawberry cake ... Bravo to the cooks, everything was successful and even the cooking of the meat was a hit with everyone!
Very beautiful wedding venue, magnificent private reception room and the hotel right next door to accommodate us with a large swimming pool in which the children quickly threw themselves!!
Small downside: no space for babies (changing, nap ...) in the reception room. But you can't have everything!
For the end of the evening: we enjoyed the reception room bar and the dance floor until 2am, then we went to sleep at the hotel just 15 metres away!
The next day, the bride and groom surprised us by booking a big brunch for us, what a great idea and once again what a success, a wide choice: pastries, pancakes, cheese, cold meats, hot and cold drinks, scrambled eggs... Enough to satisfy all the guests once again.
We hope to have the pleasure of enjoying other weddings at your place! In the meantime, we will happily stop at the Auberge for a cocktail when we go to Pornic...
Bravo to everyone, and good luck in this difficult period for all the restaurateurs and their staff.
See you soon.
