Hands down one of the best hotels that my husband and I have been to. We stayed in the junior suite facing the sea and it was breathtaking. The service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was delicious. We will definitely be back. Hands down one of the best hotels that my husband and I have been to. We stayed in the junior suite facing the sea and it was breathtaking. My wife and I have watched the refurbishment of this hotel while staying previously at the Amare, owned I’m certain by the same company, so thought we’d try El Fuerte this time and we’re very pleased we did! The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, but equally as important the staff are almost without exception very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The revamped hotel is very pleasant and tastefully modern. All of the staff we had dealings with were very helpful and accommodating. The small issue we had with an alliance in our room was rectified very efficiently. The location is ideal for access to the promenade or the delightful old town. Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are very good and very accommodating. It feels like a real five star hotel for this area. It is not only good for Marbella but it’s also good on a world-class spectrum. The rooms are to a delightful standard and they are regularly stocked. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in during my stays in Spain.Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are very good and very accommodating. It feels like a real five star hotel for this area. It is not only good for Marbella but it’s also good on a world-class spectrum. The rooms are to a delightful standard and they are regularly stocked. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in during my stays in Spain.

Historical landmark hotel was brand new and refurbished Sept 2023. Staff were friendly very helpful. Breakfast are really good. Rooms are decent. Only the bathrooms are a bit dated and small in size. But I guess they couldn’t change their sizes considering the hotel was built in 1950’s. My only negative remark would be they use too much of room/air perfumes hidden in every corner from automatic machines.Historical landmark hotel was brand new and refurbished Sept 2023.
