Hampden house is a beautiful wedding venue.
My husband and I were over the moon with our day and everything leading up to it. Sue, Ailsa and Jeannie and the whole of the Hampden staff looked after us from the minute we viewed the venue. Its historic grounds and interiors meant we didn’t need to spend excessive money on decoration as the place itself is unbelievably stunning.
Highly recommend booking the bridal suite for getting ready in - it was a perfect morning, and provided a beautiful backdrop for photos.
It is a 20 second walk from Hampden house to St Mary’s Magdalene church if you choose to get married there.
The grounds are wonderfully manicured and there are plenty of WOW locations for your pictures.
The wedding breakfast room has breath taking ceilings and it feels like you’ve stepped into an episode of a period drama like Bridgeton! Our guests were blown away, in absolute awe of Hampden House.
We got married on a hot June day, yet inside remained nice and cool.
The day ran so smoothly thanks to the kind, calm and knowledgeable staff - I can’t thank them enough.
Initially we were hesitant about the 11pm finish but it was actually perfect. Everyone leaves on an absolute high, it never feels like numbers were dwindling and when you’ve had to be up at the crack of dawn yourself, it’s a god send as you still have energy.
In summary, couldn’t recommend Hampden house and the team enough. You won’t regret it.
