Ellingham Hall

From the first time we visited Ellingham Hall we fell in love with the elegant rooms, the stunning decor and the beautiful grounds. We loved coming back to see the hall to start visualising our winter wedding. But I was unprepared to see how beautiful the hall looked when decorated for Christmas! The rooms were amazing and perfect for us. It allowed us to have our family and wedding party all under one roof which is exactly what we wanted. We loved the 2-night experience. The night before allowed us time to relax and spend time with our loved ones before our big day. Everyone enjoyed the Den and all its games, I don't think anyone had the early night we had planned. The food was … INCREDIBLE! We had so many complements from our guests about the throughout the day. All dietary requirements were catered for (sorry for the long list Wendy!). The wedding breakfast service was impeccable and we can’t thank you enough for keeping a meal back for my brother in law and my nephew. All the serving staff were fantastic - I am glad I went for the served wine rather than bottles on the tables. The cocktail tower to welcome our evening guests seemed to be never ending and the cocktails were gorgeous. The chapel looked fabulous for our evening entertainment and people were dancing all night long. We cannot fault anything during our wedding weekend. You brought our dreams to life and we had the best weekend of our lives! I thought I would be stressed the night before the wedding, but I was able to hand everything over to the capable hands of the team at Ellingham. Everything just happened, I didn’t even need to think about worrying about my spreadsheet plans. We are so glad that we were able to have some of our photos in the grounds, despite the gale force winds! It was an incredible day at an incredible venue making for a perfect wedding! Thank you - I don’t think words can fully say how grateful we are for everything everyone at Ellingham did for us during the lead up to our wedding and during the day. Special thank you to David, Charlie and Wendy who dealt with all my bridal moments!

Thank you for making our weekend so special!! We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better day! All the staff have been amazing, especially Debbie & Alicia. The food was exceptional, my auntie said it’s the best food she’s ever eaten, and the evening food was also amazing! Everyone that has spoken to us today has said it’s been the best venue they’ve ever been to and we’re hugely complimentary about the staff! Please pass on our sincere thanks to your incredible team.

We’ve spoken every day since with each other and our friends and family about how we couldn't have wished for a better couple of days and although Ellingham is a magical venue, that is truly because of you guys. Everything from the food to the service to the running of the day itself was an absolute dream and totally exceeded anything we could have hoped for.

I working in the wedding industry for over 10 years, upon viewing Ellingham, we knew it was our perfect venue. It was exclusive and dog friendly- our 2 MUSTS! Ellingham's 2-night wedding experience was faultless. The team accommodated our busy schedule and were extremely attentive. All guests enjoyed their time, many stating it's the best wedding they’ve been to! For us it was perfect from start to finish, everything ran perfectly, nothing was too much! Exceeded our dream wedding by a million!

THANK YOU for helping us to have the most magical, perfect wedding day. We both fell in love from the first look around; the incredible exterior, gorgeous chapel and fantastic basement were sellers for us, as well as the exclusivity! Wendy was so warm on the phone and welcomed us straight into the family! Our night before with our nearest and dearest was so special. Our wedding day ran smoothly and the food was the best I’ve ever had! We had so many compliments from guests about the food and how experienced and professional the staff were, helping the day to run seamlessly! A big thank you to Debbie for making a stressed bride feel so relaxed and for checking in on us throughout the day. A big thank you to David for making us feel so special, particularly just before I walked down the aisle. That was a special moment! And Charlotte, you were a friendly face at every step of the way and helped the day to run perfectly. Ellingham Hall, you are so much more than a beautiful venue! We know there are so many members of staff who make the day run perfectly so thank you to you all! If only we could do it all over again! Even though you do this job so many times, you made this bride and groom feel like we were the only people to ever marry at Ellingham Hall and the staff were part of our friends and family!

From the minute we got to Ellingham Hall, every member of staff we saw was smiling and happy for us to be there and full of congratulations! All of our guests were amazed by the attention to detail from all of you and our friends and family have made comment on the food and it being ‘the best wedding food I’ve ever had’. You were all a massive part of making our day run perfectly and we’re so thankful it was you making our weekend run smoothly. Your staff were amazing- a special thanks to Alicia and Debbie for all their hard work both the day before and the day of our wedding (and all of Debbie's work in the months before our wedding!). So many guests commented on the staff and how lovely you all were, but that at the same time it was like we had Ellingham to ourselves. I especially appreciate you keeping me calm before walking down the aisle, I was so nervous but I actually think it was the highlight of the day. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease, it really was like having another friend at our wedding. 'Debbie, I just wanted to thank you so so much for everything you did in the run up and on the wedding day. It really does fly over doesn't it! All our guests were really impressed with the food, especially all our veggies or guests with dietary requests. They all said the veggie's are usually forgotten about or not given as good of an option, but they really felt included and looked after both days. The non-alcohol drinking guests really appreciated this option too! My mum wanted to thank you so much for the wedding morning as well, helping her out with the balancing act of registrar and mother of the bride - she did amazing! I also wanted to thank Charlotte for her amazing organization and commitment the night before and on the wedding day. She did an amazing job, just knew what needed doing, suggested better ways of doing things and just put me at ease. Ruth too- she was super helpful, especially the night before the wedding when I still wasn't quite with it/stressed. I really wish Ellingham all the best for the future - it's changed quite a lot since we originally booked, all for the better and we had an amazing day. The outdoor spaces are amazing - our guests loved the fire pit and being able to have the drinks reception outside was perfect.'

Ellingham hall staff are absolutely amazing! They made my wedding day perfect in every way, everything I asked for was arranged and delivered above my expectations. Unfortunately an elderly guest had a fall on my wedding and the Ellingham team were absolutely amazing, they changed plans last minute to ensure this guest was ok and didn’t miss out on the day and were soo supportive! I could not have asked for anything more from them. Complete professionals from start to end. Can’t recommend enough.
