- Upstairs Event Space: Ideal for intimate weddings, this space comfortably seats up to 60 guests for a sit-down dinner or hosts up to 120 guests for a stylish canapé reception. It also features a private balcony overlooking the water—perfect for sunset moments.
- Downstairs Event Space: For larger celebrations, the downstairs area accommodates up to 80 guests seated or up to 200 for a canapé-style event. It includes an outdoor pergola, a great spot for pre-drinks and mingling.

Planning your wedding should be exciting, not stressful. That’s why The Boathouse provides a dedicated Event Manager to guide you every step of the way. You can host your ceremony right on-site or choose from nearby stunning locations recommended by the team. Ceremony styling packages include essentials like a floral arbour, chairs, and a signing table for off-site ceremonies. When you book the venue, you get exclusive use for five hours, with the Boathouse team handling all setup and pack-down. Standard inclusions cover table settings, casual lounge areas, a dance floor, and tasteful venue styling to bring your vision to life.

Amy, our wedding coordinator made everything so easy, the room and flowers were stunning and the food was fantastic. The team on the day were amazingly attentive - Flynn who headed up the bar team made sure no one was without a drink in their hand the whole night, and even queued every single song when Spotify refused to behave. Thank you BoathouseWanted to provide a review for the Boathouse as a wedding venue because we were so blown away by how fantastic the experience was. Amy, our wedding coordinator made everything so easy, the room and flowers were stunning and the food was fantastic. We had the best experience with Amy from the very beginning. She is super responsive, extremely nice, and made sure everything was perfect on our day. Amy is professional and a pleasure to work with. Shirley and the team on the day could not have been more accommodating and attentive. They always made sure everyone always had drinks and food. The decorations and flowers are the day were absolutely perfect.We had our wedding at The Boathouse Shelly Beach and it was the most amazing day! We had the best experience with Amy from the very beginning. She is super responsive, extremely nice, and made sure everything was perfect on our day. Amy is professional and a pleasure to work with. Shirley and the team on the day could not have been more accommodating and attentive. They always made sure everyone always had drinks and food. The decorations and flowers are the day were absolutely perfect.

The staff were amazing and helped all the guest feel comfortable. They went above and beyond to look after everyone and especially the bride and groom. The tables were beautifully set in a sea theme with beautiful long tables. Highly recommend this venue ❤️I had the honour of officiating a wedding yesterday during a crazy down pour. The wedding had the upstairs part of the venue which overlooks the beach and the bay. Staff were great, food was wonderful. We opted for a canapé/ cocktail style reception and got to pick our food options from a large menu. All of the canapés were delicious, as well as the lavosh and cheese platter. The set up was perfect and just how I had requested. The team on the day were efficient at serving drinks and food and clearing away glasses and food when finished. Our event coordinator, Lola, was great to work with to get all the details for our day .I had my February wedding upstairs and everything was fantastic!
