Petersons Armidale Winery and Guesthouse features beautiful English gardens and a historic guesthouse for your relaxed wedding ceremony and reception on-site. The venue provides full service, including catering and drinks, and seven guest bedrooms as on-site accommodation.

Wedding Ceremony at Petersons Armidale

The lovely grounds of the Petersons Armidale Winery offer multiple romantic ceremony sites and gorgeous photo backgrounds. Some options include a weeping elm tree and the entrance as outdoor options, and cellar door and drawing rooms as indoor locations.

Ceremony inclusions:

• Clothed signing table and chairs
• 20 ceremony chairs 
• Rehearsal
• Coordination
• Access to the ground for photos
• Wine barrels for decorations

You can rent the PA system and add more chairs.

Pre-Reception Drinks and Canapés

Cocktail hour at Petersons Armidale Winery includes two hot and cold canapés per person served after the ceremony and a selection of pre-dinner drinks. 

Cocktail hour can be organised outdoors, in the marquee garden or indoors, at the cellar door. You can set a bar tab, enable guests to pay for their drinks or extend the beverage package.

Optionally, you can extend the canapé hour, add an antipasto or grazing table and rent lawn games for your guests' entertainment.

Wedding Reception at Petersons Armidale Winery

Two locations are available for your wedding party:

• Guesthouse: Stylish event space with high ceiling and long table setting; capacity: 50 guests
• Marquee: capacity: Versatile space for large parties with 150 guests

Both options include:

• Reception essentials: cutlery, crockery, glassware, linen
• Photography rights
• Fully licensed bar
• Chairs and tables
• Available add-ons include a dance floor, PA system with microphone, extra lighting and more.

Wedding Packages at Petersons Armidale Winery

Whether you prefer casual or more formal wedding parties, Petersons Armidale Winery caters to every wedding style. 

The buffet package is suitable for a more relaxed wedding, and it includes the following:

• Five-hour beverage package
• Four canapés per person after the ceremony
• Buffet main course
• Wedding cake cutting and plating 
• Coffee and tea service

The alternate-serve wedding package is a traditional dining style menu featuring two alternate-serve entrees and mains.

The platter package is a fun, share-style menu option offering meze platter and platter main course served to the table.

The venue offers vendor and children meals and caters to different dietary requirements. A variety of enhancements are available, such as bridal lunch, dessert instead of wedding cake and family morning-after breakfast or brunch.

The drink package contains Petersons wines – sparkling, red and white, standard beers and non-alcoholic drinks. 

Elopement Package at Petersons Armidale Winery

If you want a wedding without fuss, you can request an elopement package that covers a ceremony and low-key reception for up to 20 people. Food, drinks, accommodation, and breakfasts are included in the package.
