Narryna – the Merchant’s House in Battery Point is a unique wedding venue with lovely grounds and an inner city location. This venue hosts ceremony, and reception, and makes a stunning location for your wedding photo session.

Facilities at Narryna

Narryna is a 19th-century merchant house with a stunning Georgian façade and forecourt garden. The capacities at the Narryna include:

• 120 -150 guests in the Garden with a gorgeous house façade as a backdrop
• 50 guests in the sheltered courtyard
• 100 guests in an undercovered shed available year-round

Services & Amenities at Narryna

Narryna doesn’t provide in-house catering or alcohol, but it has practical amenities and facilities for your caterer. It is also close to restaurants and bars at Salamanca Place, Sandy Bay and more. Spacious, serving kitchen stand next to the shed for convenient access. It is available for hire with other parts of the property and can be used for:

• Refrigeration
• Heating for canapes
• Preparation and serving
• Washing the dishes with the included sink and dishwasher

The supplier's vans can be parked on-site, for example, on the west side or in a car park area with quick access to the reception area. Please note that Narryna doesn’t offer staff.

You’ll have to hire waiters or deputise guests with RSA accreditations.

• Ceremony essentials – signing table, two chairs and 50 white chairs for the guests
• Toilets & wheelchair-accessible toilets
• Parking for 8 vehicles

For the couple's convenience, the venue has a range of additional items and decorations they can rent for a fee, such as:

• Trestle tables
• Tablecloths
• Sparkling glasses
• 3x3 open-sided marquee (the setup isn’t included)
• Outdoor gas heaters
