In addition to gardens, Glen Lea Homestead's famous event space is the Old Shearing Shed, built in the 1880s and restored to provide a comfortable wedding venue for your day.

The Shed is fully enclosed and can accommodate 200 seated guests. It features high ceilings, power, and basic lighting, making it versatile and suitable for personalization.

If the country vibe dominating the Shed doesn't appeal, create a modern wedding at Glen Lea Homestead and rent an elegant marquee or set up alfresco dining on the grass courts. 

The earliest you can get into the venue is 9 am, and the last drinks are called at 11.30 pm.

In addition to venue hire for the ceremony, reception and photography, the venue provides the accommodation on-site in the nearby Manager's Cottage. The Cottage originates from the 1950s, and it has recently been renovated to include all modern facilities for wedding night stay and bridal party.
