We planned our intimate wedding in less than 5 months, & Jo (the owner) was with us every step of the way. She was beyond helpful, always quick to respond, supportive & openly gave advice that helped guide us through our decisions. To say she knows what she's doing is an understatement. Jo was absolutely amazing and could not have been more accommodating, it was the most perfect day for our wedding. We stayed in the cottages onsite also, they are so beautiful and are exactly what you want to relax before your big day! Thank you, Jo, for creating a seamless and stress-free day for us. My husband and I got married at the stunning Forget Me Not on Monday. We cannot recommend the venue enough. Jo was absolutely amazing and could not have been more accommodating, it was the most perfect day for our wedding. Jo was the most incredible host, taking us up the hill in her ATV for photos was the best and even got to feed her cows oranges and give them a little pat. The marquee was set up from the wedding the night before and we were in absolute awe of everything. Forget Me Not is gorgeous in photos, but absolutely magical in person. Meeting Jo further reiterated our thoughts. We felt immediately comfortable in her presence. We had 110 guests at our wedding but yet it still felt so intimate, just like a big dinner party. Do you offer Elopements.
Yes we welcome elopements and have a special 3 hour hire for 2 people and up. Includes your choice of many beautiful ceremony spots. A vast area for photos including a trip in our RTV comfortable with cushions and blankets to the top of the hill for sunset photos.
Small and micro weddings
We love the intimate smaller weddings and have some great priced packages midweek up to 60 people. Choose from having your reception in the new space 'The WaterShed' or outside dining in our Chapel space under the festoon lighting
Can we have a marquee wedding
We have a great levelled site to erect your favourite style of tent. The Sperry tents are a beautiful structure or choose a clear or traditional style marquee or you may prefer to have tipi's for your day. Our maximum numbers for the venue is 160 people.
Curfew
Friday and Saturday events the music must be switched off at 10.00pm with guest departure by 10.30pm.
Midweek weddings is a half an hour earlier then this.
Do we have to have a co-ordinator or planner for the day.
Hiring a Coordinator is a requirement for your event, to start a minimum of 1 month prior to your day. We only work with a select few trusted coordinators, please see our approved list. We also offer this service.
Can we view the venue
We would love to meet you and happily show you the venue but any venue inspections be pre-arranged.
Is there accommodation on site
We have 4 beautiful cottages sleeping a total of 14 people. The one bedroom honeymoon cottage is gorgeous and also 3 other two bedroom cottages that are very comfortable with great views over the water and farmland.
Alcohol
BYO only. Staff must be employed to serve alcohol and hold NSW RSA Certificates.
Pets
We will allow pets for ceremony and photos only, providing dogs are kept on a leash and taken off the property after this. No pets permitted at the accommodation.
Bathroom/ toilets
Yes we have proper flushing toilets. 3 toilets, one being accessible and 2 male urinals.
