Overall, Aunty Kim's interior is a perfect blend of chic details within an industrial setting. If you hire the venue for exclusive use, multiple floor layouts are impacting the venue's capacity:
- Ceremony and wedding reception with a combination of round and long tables for 30 guests
- Ceremony-only layout with seating for 48 guests
- Seated wedding reception for 78 guests with a long table and rectangular tables
- Half room used for seated reception for 24 guests with a long table
- Half room used for standing reception for 40 guests
Food at Aunty Kim's
Aunty Kim's catering team creates a bespoke menu for your occasion, allowing you to choose between formal and casual dining options, all serving delicious bit-size dishes and exceptional dishes.
A shared menu is a popular option at Aunty Kim's consisting of 7, 8 or 10 courses. The sample menu includes traditional and international dishes, such as chicken ribs with pineapple jam, blue swimmer crab and cold smoked ‘infinity blue’ barramundi.
Plated packages are suited for formal sit-down receptions. The package includes your choice of entrée, main and dessert with optional alternate drop service. You can add canapé service before the dinner, increase the number of side dishes or ask for wine pairing with food for an elevated experience.
Canapé menus are available for serving roaming style, grazing table or as a mixture.
Grazing tables are available as an upgrade for each dining option, as a free-flowing table of delicious snacks.
Premium upgrades adding a wow factor to your wedding include:
- Oyster bar
- Champagne towers
- DIY Bellini station
- DIY cocktail station
- Negroni cart
For drinks, you can sign up for packages lasting 3 hours and add an extra hour for a set fee. Choose between standard and premium packages with options to upgrade the packages with cocktail and signature drinks.
Popular beverage drink packages include:
- Prosecco, champagne, Bellini or sparkling cuvee on arrival
- Premium spirits
- House spirits
- Free-flowing champagne
- Tea and coffee station
The venue doesn't provide wedding cakes, but charges for wedding cake cutting and serving.
In addition to food and drinks, Aunty Kim's offers assorted décor, such as letter lights, personalised projector messages and candle lights, each available for a fee. Other than that, you can choose your decoration. Please note, confetti and glitter, aren't permitted in the venue.
